Today I was hoping to take some lovely pictures out in the city, but it rained, and it rained, and it rained. Instead took some close ups of todays details. I recently rediscovered my collection of Edie Sedgwick style earrings hidden under my bed. Big earrings were something I had an obsession with when I was about 14, but at the time lacked the bravery to actually wear out. I know this time I will get my wear out of them, and can see them becoming something of a signature piece. I've been sweeping my hair into low messy buns for the last week, and adding a ribbon makes it that bit less boring and gives it a ballerina feel which I'm partial to. Bit the bullet and invested in this fuzzy, angora jumper by Le Mont St Michel which come to think of it, also has ballerina vibes. No regrets.

Currently snuggled up under my new shearling throw I got at IKEA last night, the smell of brownies is floating into my room. My sister has decided to perfect her recipe and I'm chief taster. Things could be worse.
